We love staying in the heart of downtown Yountville (usually North Block or Hotel Yountville), walking distance to all of the restaurants and tasting rooms and a quick drive to some of the best wineries. You must go to R+D Kitchen for a casual meal (we usually go before tastings) and order the crispy chicken sandwich, it is everything. I love Bouchon for a lunch on the patio but it's also a great spot for dinner, too! Bottega is also a favorite date night option. We have yet to do the French Laundry, but on my list.
