I learned from a young age to chase curiosities and lean into the things that light me up. I'd spend my spare time marveling over my mom's Vogue collection—in awe of the escapism, storytelling, and beautiful writing. I fell in love with interior design and began moving my bedroom around weekly. I was also fascinated with graphic design and photography and eager to learn my way around a camera. I live for the opulent energy that comes from visual epiphanies.

In high school when the internet came around, I discovered blogging and everything clicked. My found passions suddenly worked in harmony. I had a few blogs throughout my youth and created this space in 2011 after moving to San Francisco. I was in my early twenties, decorating my first apartment, and creating a new life for myself in the city and had never felt so free! After years of pouring my heart into this corner of the web and cultivating such a kind and supportive community, I was able to leave my 9-5 job in early 2016.

Without realizing it, I've been training my eyes since I was young. I have an endless admiration and appreciation for attention to detail and beauty found in daily life. I'm always looking—which keeps me curious, energized, and has been the catalyst for self-discovery and has shaped the life I've built.

It's in my nature to share what I love with others, it brings me great joy! It is my hope to share my perspective and help you refine your eye, collect thoughtfully, and design your days, closet, and home with soul and discernment.

"Wisdom begins in wonder."

A few fun facts! I am married to my best friend, Matt, and am the mother of two precious girls, Grace and Hazel. My husband and I met back in the city in 2013 and got married in St. Helena in 2019. We left San Francisco after both living there for over a decade and bought our first home in Orinda in the East Bay in 2020. In 2023 we finished living through an 8 month remodel, my biggest design undertaking! I'm a 4/6 Generator in Human Design (I learned in the last couple of years) which has been such an a-ha! Alllll makes sense.

Things I love – great lighting, arranging flowers, pilates and walks in nature, finding beauty in the mundane, gardening,  organizing, the smell of freshly cut grass, spring! sharp writing, collecting vintage murano vases, pinot noir, Carmel (we want to retire here), Paris and Italy, taking in an inspiring view for the first time, rainbow sightings, meticulously thoughtful branding, Pizza Fridays, witnessing my kids be their pure magnetic selves, and spending time with my family.

Thank you for reading and being here!
