Very Good Jeans

Style

Apr 17

I am so back in the chat and couldn’t be more thrilled! A few seasons where I felt like I couldn’t fully participate had me puzzled at times. I am having the most fun getting dressed again. Denim makes my wardrobe click a lot more effortlessly.

After months of try-ons and denim hunting, I have found four styles that I am absolutely loving. They are all noteworthy and inspired me to share this post. Some snaps and notes below on each…

AYR Lala in the color true story

THE JEANS!! These are my very faves right now. The pair I would suggest the most of all! I am utterly obsessed and am waiting for the restock to grab one more pair. They have that lived-in feel of vintage denim (not too thick and structured), are so flattering, comfortable, and the color is perfect. I can’t rave enough!!!

Slvrlake London Crop in the color forbidden love

I’ve tried other Slvrlake styles and they don’t compete in my opinion with the London Crop. They are so good. I have them in the wash I linked and a lighter wash that is sold out at the moment. I go with my true size. These are slightly wider leg than the AYR but have a similar feel and quality — maybe just slightly thicker! They are very good jeans.

Levi’s 501 Original Crop

I have these in a few current colors: surprise guest (ecru), where to now (med wash denim pictured above), jazz pop (medium wash). They are so good! Another great style where you can choose inseam, 26″ or 28″, I think all brands should be doing this. I go with my true size.

Toteme Twisted Seam Denim

I had these pre-kids and ripped them at some point and decided to try again recently. Love them! I also got the white. They’re a great classic vintage-feel jean, too.

If you have jeans you can’t stop talking about to anyone and everyone who will listen (me right now in life) — please do send them my way!!! Happy weekend! xx
