Auberge du Soleil

I don't know where to start! Auberge du Soleil is so special. While it feels so one-of-a-kind unique, it also reminds me of some of my very favorite hotels in ways. For that reason, I felt so at-home right away. Being up in a hill and having a sweeping view of the valley is unlike any other property we've stayed in wine country. The mature and lush landscaping is enchanting—olives, azalea, palm trees and live oaks covering the grounds. The exteriors and interiors are so inviting and charming. I am obsessed with all their grasscloth wallpaper, woven seating, and the fabrics throughout—the drapes in our room, the lounges, and pillows—all in a beautiful mustard hue. The pool scene is an absolute dream. I sat there in awe over every detail and every angle. It just takes your breath away. I felt like I was in Europe or a movie set the entirety of our stay and I didn't want to leave! I just can't say enough good things and I wish we would have come here sooner! That said, we will most definitely be back.

Here are some captures from our stay...

Jaw, meet floor.

Captivating details in our room. We stayed in Narbonne 1 in case interested!

The primary bath was incredible.

Side note: I can't get enough of this bag...

Homemade potato chips with their in-house onion and fine herbs dip—bliss.

After waking up, we walked up to grab green juice and coffees from the restaurant and came back to enjoy before tennis and a long walk. So lovely.

Their spa is gorgeous. I got a facial and loved that they use True Botanicals, a longtime favorite!

I shared more of our dinner experience on stories this week, everything was incredible... the wild king salmon dish with coconut forbidden rice, bok choy, green curry was my favorite dish. Here's the menu in case you want to take a peek / want to visit soon! Can't recommend enough.

Charming little seating areas and picnic spots throughout the property.

Already miss it. What a treat! If you wonder where you should book your next wine country trip... you know my answer. And let me know how you enjoy if you do go!!! x
