With a new site up and running (have been needing a foundational reset for years!) I am feeling light as a feather. Liberating! Let’s catch up a bit on the last few weeks / the start of winter.
Aside from ducking my head to work behind the scenes on my site refresh, we enjoyed lots of family time over the holiday break. Hazel is eight months now and still napping twice a day, so in these seasons you have slightly less flexibility. I think next year we will opt for more eventful calendar and maybe a couple small trips to break up time at home! We did get a chance to escape to Carneros, which was just the scenery change we needed…

Would you guys like to see a blog post on all my latest favorite clothing pieces for Grace and Hazel? I did a big haul a month back and found so many precious things! I was thinking about sharing all the cute stuff we got Hazel for Christmas, too. I spent a lot of time tracking down the cutest baby toys and books and am proud of my findings/feel like they all could make for excellent gifts for babies.
Grace’s pullover is years old, I bought it way too big for her and she finally fits in it as of the last year. Her jammies are favorites by Kissy Kissy (always size up), and her Hunter boots.

The cozy cottages in wine country make my nervous system feel held. The heated floors, too! I shared this snap while on our trip and a bunch of you asked about my cosmetic bags: monogram one is from a favorite Etsy shop and the other is old from Au Départ.

Truly wear this thing so many times a week! Mine is sold out but I found one in gray and black! I am keeping an eye out for if mine comes back and will let you know.

After all these years, my Louise Roe vase still brings me immense joy (on sale!). Also, spring has sprung in the flower section of Trader Joes! I went through my linen storage bag of things I stored in pregnancy and postpartum and everything fits once again! The best feeling. Also, I kept some knit shorts out and a few things that lean more spring-y because it’s that time of year I start to push my luck.
How fun is that feeling when you have tiny glimmers of spring and you’re reminded of the lifestyle unlocks that come with it? We sat on the grass last weekend (Hazel’s first time grounding haha) and I thought about all the fun days in the garden after school and on weekends with the girls. It’s going to be a very fun spring and summer!

On my bedazzled shit again! In love.

Matt and I love taking advantage of childcare every so often on a Friday afternoon for a lunch date. Gosh, how clutch it is to have relatives live locally. Most of our friends have parents in driving distance who watch their kids regularly, the dream! We do not, so am needing to find an army of babysitters asap.
Anyway, Chez Panisse is one of our go-tos. There’s this cute little flower shop a couple of doors down we popped into after lunch and grabbed these beauties! The bag is by Savette, in case you are curious! My favorite shade of red. It also comes in a red leather.

You guys, these socks are on another planet level cozy. Just trust me, they are ridiculously good. Perfect thickness / tightness. Such a luxury to put on at the end of the day.

A moment for one of my favorite jeans right now. Also living in these. Jeans life!!!

I mentioned this awhile ago, I forget where! But, every so often when you find a good deal, buying 3x the amount of flowers you normally would and creating a statement piece is such a vibe. It makes the arrangement feel so much more grand. Grace favorite flowers right now are sunflowers.

I ended up deciding on this beautiful pear diamond band for creating Hazel from scratch. I love her! And it looks so lovely with my Jane Pope quartz ring. I got this one as a gift when I announced my pregnancy, so feels like a good full circle duo. I also love that the stone is known for its healing energy, bringing balance, clarity, and overall health to those who wear it. I needed it this past year.

A new puffer jacket I got one sale. I had been keeping an eye peeled for a fur collared option, I don’t know why it was in my head, but I am glad because I love this! Everything about it is just perfect.

My sweetest muse! I look at her with so much admiration and wonder. It has got me thinking many times — the way we look at our kids, the things we think of them, the love we have that explodes for them. If only we thought, spoke, and looked at ourselves the same? I mean, they did come from us, there is a whole lot of us in them. It’s been an interesting perspective shift for me, for sure.
A few more things
My current favorite t shirts I am living in (and a similar find my gf wore and thought it was also Leset). Wearing it above in the capture with my beaded bag. I have it in a few colors! It’s so good.
Still obsessed with this natural deodorant and tell everyone about it.
If you like lace (unlined) underwire bras like me, I found such good ones!
My wine country guides are refreshed and ready for you. 🙂
That is all for now. Expect these posts to back on regular rotation! Thank you for reading and have a beautiful day. xx

so much fun!
