Meadowood and Las Alcobas are both stunning properties for special occasion splurging. There are plenty of more affordable hotels in the area. We love this area so much (we got married at Meadowood!) – it has the best wineries in my opinion. I put a little (*) near our top favorites! The Charter Oak is one of the best meals we've had in wine country and it's just beautiful–fire pits outside, too, and dog-friendly!
