Our week at Mauna Lani

Within the first 24 hours of our week stay at Mauna Lani, an idyllic Auberge Resort, I already got what I needed from a vacation. I felt so instantly relaxed and content, it was completely rejuvenating. Forgot what it was like to feel this way! Matt and I hadn't been on a trip like this in many years (since our 2019 fall honeymoon) and it was Grace's first big escape, too. Between pandemic, first years of parenthood, and investing so much in our renovation... we put a pause on holidays. We finally got around to it and I'm so glad we did—we needed it and definitely soaked up every minute.

I love Auberge—they know how to take care of you and create such beautiful spaces, experiences, and memories that come with each visit. You can always count on incredible attention to detail, dreamy backdrops, and the best spas and dining at Auberge properties. I took so many snaps that will always be a delight to relive—and to hopefully inspire you to book your next beach vacation. You deserve it!

Captures from our week in Hawaii below / I saved a bunch to my Hawaii highlight on IG, too...

The stunning view from our suite

Charming bungalow vibes at HaLani—one of their on-site restaurants. We ate here for a few meals (breakfast, lunch, and dinner!) and loved it!

Sunset on our first night. God, Hawaii sunsets are like no other. Something I treasure about Hawaii is that every evening, everyone around you is equally mesmerized by golden hour. Usually within a 10 min timeframe, we'd collectively stop what we're doing and just admire as the sun went down and the colors grew more vibrant and captivating. A reminder of how magical life can be.

One ritual I was so looking forward to was early (because I knew we'd always rise before the sun here!) walks on the beach. This was the start of our first full day on the island and gave me so much inspiration.

On the day of arrival, we spent a little bit of time by the pool before dinner... but the rest of the trip G was exclusively about the beach!

The dried mango from the market on property is the best I've ever had. We bought daily for G and stocked up for home when we left. Loved having that market there! Coffees every morning and such good snacks to bring along to the beach.

The best mocktails—at all their restaurants and at the beach!

Dinner at CanoeHouse, their other restaurant on property. Everyone raves about this spot—it was delicious. You cannot miss out on ordering the Ahi Warayaki (my doctor told me it's okay for me to eat raw fish—will be saving the rare occasion while pregnant for when it's super fresh like this) and the fried rice was a side we decided to order and was the best fried rice we've ever had (and will be dreaming about).

The avocado toast and muesli bowl from HaLani were so good.

The Goop shop on site! The spa is right next door which was very enjoyable. I got a prenatal massage (my first ever) and will be needing to add that ritual to my life a bit more these next few months.

I linked everything I packed here

Until next time! x
