I love October. A little more sun on our shoulders for a few short weeks before the cold snap hits and sweaters officially move to the forefront/bath season begins! I have to say it every year (it’s my favorite book and quote of all time) – life starts all over again when it gets crisp in the fall. It’s so true! I love all of the changes that come with cooler weather, and it has been inspiring me to no end. Our plans this time of year are fun but super laid back and relaxing. Trips up to wine country are in the works and we hope to have a few last picnics before hosting wine/dinner parties. I’m going to run to the market this week to snag some fall florals and pumpkins because I’m ready to dive right in. Here are a few things on my fall bucket list. What’s on yours??
apple picking
bookmark a few pumpkin recipes to make
rearrange our apt and start decorating for fall
plan fall gatherings to host
have a few more picnics while we can
plan wine country weekends
come up with a NYE game plan
create a new moody/soulful playlist
find a new workout class (for when it gets too cold to run)
vintage shopping for blazers and coats
find a tailor (going to start tailoring pieces to fit me perfect…)
continue to build a fall wardrobe I love (started a board here)
I have loads of fall style, interiors, and recipe posts in the works, but would love to know if there’s anything specific you’d like to see! Let me know in the comments below. Happy October! x
