My Week in Pictures 3.7.26

Living

3/09/26

What a wonderful 38th birthday it was. We got so lucky with the weather — sun and high seventies is as good as it gets early March! I realized I love birthdays so much because they serve as a reminder of the whole point of life. Dedicated time with the ones you love most, celebrating another year being alive, and making plans and rituals that light you up.

The week started a little dicey as I got food poisoning Monday followed by a driver’s license renewal at the DMV Tuesday (gonna be a stunning photo haha) but it was all smooth sailing from there.

Matt and I had a reservation at one of our favorites in the city, Kokkari. Everytime I am sat in this living room, I need a moment to soak it in. The amount of intention, beauty, and care put into the details are special. I always feel so inspired and comforted in this space, something I am very grateful for. And of course, the food is always spectacular! They also made me a hugo, which turned into the theme of my weekend celebrations. Need to make my way over here more, even just for a solo lunch date.

I stored all my thicker knits and coats last week to make way for spring and summer, which is always so fun! I had a blast packing for a hot weekend in Sonoma. Will be writing about and sharing lots of warm weather outfits this year, I have missed it!

My favorite jeans (I have them in a few washes) and crochet mules.

I had the loveliest lunch with fave friends this week at Chez Panisse, always a delight! Another very special spot that feels like a true luxury to sit and enjoy a meal. Their baked goat cheese salad and Bandol rosé really hit the spot.

For my community aunties, Hazel is a dream right now. I personally think starting at 9 months is when they get so fun. Their little personalities are starting to shine, they become a bit attached to you (first time she has been sad at drop off!), and independence is in fruition. She was an angel on our trip… always a smile on her face, giggling, and was zen-ing out in her floaty in the pool. Loving this stage so much. The transition to two is definitely a lot, but with time it gets easier. Watching the girls start to bond lately is one of the most magical things to witness.

Matt and I made our way to another favorite in SF, Cotogna. It’s become my birthday tradition each year. Everything is always delicious — we get their bread balls, pastry cheese/proscitto app (blanking what they call it), raviolo, and a fish — but you must order the pistachio olive oil ice cream if you go soon!!

Happy spring details.

Live in these shorts and hooray, it’s picnic season!

Birthday top! And my go-to jeans.

Pre-dinner hugos on the balcony. Wearing my favorite t shirt and cashmere joggers.

Grace on vacation is a true vibe. I aspire to be more like holiday G. She marvels over new surroundings, is so energized and cheerful and grateful. It’s my favorite part of trips these days. Her dress linked here!

Hope you have a beautiful week!

Ta ta for now! x
