Living

3/02/26

Happy March! It’s officially pisces season and spring is making its way into our surroundings (this forecast is giving me life, so grateful to see 70º for my birthday on Saturday!). Spring is the most inspiring time — it always makes me come alive and reenergizes my senses. After being sick the entirety of February (and most of fall and winter, daycare germs!) I am ready to feel some vibrancy.

This weekend I spent a couple of hours moving my fall and winter knits and coats into storage and moved all the fun warm weather in! I have been carefully collecting pieces over the last handful of years for this exact season in my life: pregnancies behind me and fitting in my wardrobe again. Spring and summer outfits coming in hot…

Agenda

Aside from a quick jaunt to the DMV tomorrow, this week feels like a deep exhale. Matt wrapped up his annual two month ‘busy season’ where he works late nights and weekends. So happy to have our routine back in place! I have bday lunches and dinners with my favorite people peppered through the week. And our family is headed to Sonoma this weekend!

Spring cleaning. I am doing one last closet sweep today after the seasonal swap out. Listing things here. Also sifting through my girls wardrobes and tidying up all cabinet and drawers. My garden needs some major TLC, too… always feel the urge this year to freshen things up.

Intentions

More sun, less screen.

In my opinion and experience in pregnancy, postpartum, and those first 6-9 months of having a baby can feel like you’re living in survival mode. With Hazel sleeping from 7-7 (bless… Grace did not do this!) and Matt home now to help with the kids, I’m ready to get back to intentionality with my routine/rituals. I feel like once they turn one and start walking, it slowly gets easier from there. The independence, being able to start communicating, I just really enjoy the toddler phase! I can’t believe she will be one in just a couple months, that is wild.

Some of the rituals and habits I would like to reintegrate: reading before bed. Waking up before my kids to start my day off on a good note: journaling, meditating, breath work, etc. Green juice to start the day (I feel so much good energy when I do this). Back to pilates or nature hike daily (the cough had me slacking here). And meal prepping and cooking more.

Creating new goals for myself. This one needs a whole post of its own. Something I realized recently was how in the last year, I have reached every goal I had ever set for myself with life and work. I’m proud of myself to be able to say that — but it’s so true all the things we hear around the climb. Getting to the top doesn’t make you feel any different really… but it’s the process of getting there and effort that brings the joy. It’s the pride, expansion, and self-belief along the way after you take each step towards the goal. More to come on this subject.

Inspired by

Peach! Aquamarine! Chartreuse! My colors.

Greenery coming to life again.

Whenever Chloe releases a new collection it makes me want to lean into feminine silks and lace. Saving lots of lovely lace finds here. Also the new floral pieces are screaming my name, I had to pre-order this skirt.

I made a new playlist! Send me songs if you are obsessed with anything new.

Making plans for the warm months. We are still mainly focusing on local quick transport trips while Hazel is so young. Wine country and Carmel are on the calendar so far! I would love to get a Cabo trip in this year with Matt and take an early fall trip to NYC to visit my sister and LA to visit one of my best friends. Need some changes of scenery for sure.

Back on my Etsy hunting. I love when I go through these waves of being addicted to Etsy. It’s a scroll session that pays off immensely. I learn and discover so much and feel brimming with inspiration. I created a new Etsy Shopmy tab I am building out in case you care to see what I find. 🙂

Last month favorites

Cotton cardigan | I went with a small to wear as a top with high waist bottoms. It is so so pretty! In love.

Doen peach silk shorts | My third color in these shorts, they are the best. I went with a small.

Papaya enzyme cleanser | One of those gentle effective cleansers that feel energizing.

La Prairie Foundation | Reunited with my old favorite and I missed it so much, it’s simply the best.

Slim fit t-shirts | wear these most everyday…

Boxy tee | and this is my favorite boxy tee option for when I want a more relaxed tee.

Undo hairclips | obsessed with this brand. I bought the citron color while staying at Stanly Ranch, they had it in their cafe shop, and I ordered a few more colors.

Ivory Levi’s | exquisite color… went with my true size.
