I could not have asked for a more perfect weekend…
My sisters and friends planned me the most thoughtful few days in my happy place, and I already miss everyone and our weekend. For my bachelorette, I just wanted to spend time with my best friends in a beautiful backyard setting and sip wine under the sun. I wanted everyone to be genuinely excited for a wine country escape and a whole lot of girl time! I can personally say it was one of the best weekends I’ve had. I wanted to share some moments captured and thought I would make note of what we did, where we stayed, and what I wore…
Things kicked off on Friday morning when a couple of girlfriends flew into town. Four of us drove up to Scribe for lunch and a tasting while Lauren (my future sister-in-law) and Taylor (sister) went up to the house to prepare and decorate. We left Scribe happy and ready to meet up with everyone and see the house! Oh my goodness… this house was absolutely adorable. The photos on the listing looked so cute, but it’s so much more amazing in person.
It felt like a dollhouse––so girly and charming and full to the brim of floral and striped textiles (namely Laura Ashley… childhood nostalgia), antiques, chandeliers, and a wrap-around porch/backyard that dreams are made of. Complete with wisteria surrounding the entire home, a pool, hot tub, bocce ball court, and a tree swing! The location is also super convenient and easy to get around to so many good spots. So much fun spending time here, we all talked about how we want to plan another girls trip in the future and book it again.
Upon arrival (and after marveling all the cuteness) we slipped into swimsuits and spent the afternoon by the pool before we had to get ready for dinner. We drove over to Sonoma Square to one of my favorite restaurants in the area, El Dorado Kitchen. Dinner was lovely, but a Bravo star sighting (Shep from Southern Charm) made (most) everyone’s night. TBH had no idea who he was and asked him if I should watch the show and he told me no, so, haha. So good.
Saturday morning we woke up and got ready for wine tasting. We rented a van and had 2 appointments for the day–– B.R. Cohn and Chateau St. Jean. Both are the absolute perfect spots to spend time outside and soak up the natural beauty surrounding. My ideal Saturday! After our tastings, we stopped by VBJ to grab sandwiches to bring back to the house to sit by the pool.
The rest of the day was so fun; singing, dancing, pool hangs. The weather was top notch that weekend, too! That evening, we hired a private chef over to make dinner which I seriously loved this touch. It was so nice (and very my speed) to spend time at the house and just relax after a long day of sunshine and wine.
Thank you to all of my wonderful friends who made this weekend an actual dream. I won’t ever forget how much fun we all had, and I can’t wait to celebrate more in T-minus 2 months! x

How do you deal with jealousy when your man is off on his ? Sounded pretty wild unlike yours. I would be soooo worried 🙁 I don’t understand woman allowing their men to be put in such situations where the wrong things can happen strippers etc..
Incredibly bizarre comment, but to answer your question… it’s called trust.
Such a beautiful trip! I’m planning one myself for a friend for the spring and was wondering if you could share which van service you used for the wine tastings and which private chef you hired?
