Super-cozy and utterly timeless, functional but fashion-forward– the knit dress is a must for your winter wardrobe. I love the ease of slipping it on with sneakers for a coffee run or dressing it up with booties for dinner. It’s also so easy to layer. I ordered this one over Thanksgiving break, and since have been eyeing a few others because it’s quickly become a favorite. In my opinion, the good ones are a little harder to come by (like most wonderful things), so I wanted to share this gem with you. It’s chic, flattering, hugs your curves in the right way and is as comfortable as can be. My advice is to keep an eye out for fabrics that are slightly thicker with a little stretch– I have luck with ribbed knits if it’s a form-fitting piece. I also love sweater dresses in the form of wrap dresses, and mini shifts with knee-high boots as well.
I feel like each season I inadvertently share a color I’m gravitating towards and I swear the past five seasons in a row have been red. Realizing this now, as I’m starting to feel like a broken record with this hue. There’s just something about that juicy poppy-red that speaks to me. It’s a feel-good color and evokes such a confident, playful, and romantic vibe. Some of my absolute favorite statement investments are red! My Sézane cardigan I have been wearing all year (sold out but this is very similar/the same fabric), my new red boots, and now this pretty number. Fitting time of year to flaunt it…
