OY! I really have forgotten how tough it can be to have a sick household. We’ve only really ever been through this as parents once when G first started daycare. That was TRULY the worst cold of my life, haha—so this time around, at least it seemed much less unbearable! And for each of us, it went by pretty quickly, it just hit us one at a time—so panned out over a week or so! I was worried we wouldn’t be able to make it to wine country as planned, but we all started feeling much better several days before, so we made it out of the house!
So lucky for us, the week ended on a lovely note—a family trip to Carneros! It was really nice to get out of the house after a bit of cabin-fever! Albeit, wine country escapes are quite different with a little toddler running around. It still felt nice to be up there for 24 hours!
I mentioned this pullover already, but have been living in it. Obsessed with their stuff right now. And lots of tea for me this past week!
Grace took most of her naps on us last week. Still my favorite thing in the entire world. Loved resting with and snuggling that cutie.
Did you see the news? A big sale is coming to JK (they are hinting) but currently have 20% off sitewide (code early20) in case things sell out! Looks like the one in this photo is already sold out, but the ivory is still availble. Will let you guys know as soon as I find out when the big sale goes live 🙂
Started to feel better = packing for Sonoma was on! Jacket details here. I am putting together a f/w wine country packing list this week as I have 4 more trips up there this year, so felt it was fitting!
The jacket I mentioned over the weekend, in love! Jewelry details here.
Also! Stocked up on 2 of these white long-sleeves and the black as well — they are the best. I went up a size 🙂
One of my favorite spots in the area—Sideboard. This date citrus salad was 10/10.
And a few snaps from Carneros!
A mood
Loved seeing Merry Edwards on the menu! So delicious.
