Sunshine, eat, sleep, repeat.
The timeliness of my monthly moodboard speaks to how things have been going over here… delayed. I have been sleeping like a rock lately, still recovering from all of the adrenaline, fun, and celebrating I lived through in June. July marks the second part of the year, and so I have felt inspired to rest up, reorganize our home, and map out plans for the next few months so we can just enjoy every second of summer while we have it.
I am craving the outdoors! I have been inside most of this week working on the not-so-fun admin things and trying to catch up a bit. I am so close to the finish line of my to-do list and have only a few things left so this weekend will be a nice way to ring in that sigh of relief. Giving myself a relaxing couple of days and by Monday will be ready to go!
On my calendar
Honestly, my calendar is gloriously empty this month (to a point I thought there may be a Gmail glitch or something after returning earlier this week to my laptop). Matt and I are heading to one of our wine clubs this weekend for an event–– wine, pizza, live music (they had me at wine), and plan on an afternoon in one of our favorite neighborhoods for shopping and a bite to eat. I would love to go on a hike or picnic… I’d like to be out and about as much as possible! My camera is going to be getting a lot of face time, too… I’ve been craving creative time after all of the said admin work this week.
We are also starting to book hotels in Italy (also, delayed), which is so exciting to start mapping out! I cannot wait, I already know it’s going to be my favorite place in the world…

Mid-summer golden hour, that mandarin-tinged hue cascading over the city. Sunday walks to the farmer’s market. Marie Kondo-ing our home again for 2019 Part II (how many times do you think she Marie Kondo’s her own home?). Light linen dresses. Reading with rosé al fresco.
July Mantra
“Our life is frittered away by detail…Simplicity, simplicity, simplicity! I say, let our affairs be as two or three, and not a hundred or a thousand…Simplify, simplify!” ― Henry David Thoreau
Playlist
People have asked me if I’m experiencing the post-wedding blues. I do think about it a lot and revisit Matt’s vows (guilty) and am always listening to one of our playlists at all times as of late. I think I just am so happy when I’m brought back to that day and the memories we made! It was a once in a lifetime experience I won’t ever forget, and it’s still so fresh. So no, I don’t have post-wedding blues, just trying to soak up these freshly made memories as much as I can.
Matt and I spent months curating our playlists, so I am very excited to finally share them with you today! We got such great feedback from friends and family about the music throughout the entire weekend. I hope you enjoy them as much as we did (and still do!)…
