Trying to be better about ditching the pilates pants and putting myself together for daycare drop off / errands around town. It’s been such an adjustment (since it really hit me this summer) moving to the suburbs and this new lifestyle. I’m still navigating what kind of rituals I love these days, how to spend my free time, how to structure my week while Grace is out of the house.
I am on the path to rediscovering myself in a lot of ways. Putting an outfit on has been helping to guide me in the right direction though. To get out of the house, explore the area, do things for myself—and quite frankly, after 2 years of pandemic/pregnancy/postpartum/raising G her first full year—feel like a normal human out in the world! So anyway, cheers to dressing in a way that makes us feel good and gives us confidence to lead the kind of lives we want. x
