Wine country is one of the few places I dub my “happy place”, and as I continue to build out my travel guide for Napa and Sonoma, I look forward to shedding some light on the spots that make this place so magical. I’ve visited The Carneros Inn several times now and have been lucky to experience their on-site restaurant, FARM. They recently launched a brunch menu for the first time ever, so Matt and I made a reservation when we were in Napa a few weeks back and enjoyed every single bite.
The avocado toast with smoked salmon won me over – the most beautiful dish presentation I think I’ve seen! I’m ALL onboard the edible flowers on anything and everything, but this was just out of this world gorgeous (and quite delicious!). We also loved the lobster rolls with crispy bacon… Matt doesn’t typically eat red meat, but these guys may have changed his mind about that.
The setting in the warm sun with a bellini in hand is hard to beat….there’s something about this property that intantly evokes relaxation. It’s my kind of place.
Had to share because we loved our time spent here! Next time you’re in the area, be sure to stop by and definitely end your meal with these sugary, warm beignets!
