Just revisiting these memories takes my breath away… followed by a deep sigh of relaxation. We stayed at Solage, an Auberge Collection resort, many years ago early on into our relationship and absolutely loved it. We hadn’t been back since their big renovation—and wow—it looks incredible! I did a little walkthrough on my ‘wine country’ highlight on Instagram if you missed it.
We’ve been fortunate to stay at such lovely rooms in the area over the years, but this one (an orchard suite!) was to die for. I walked in and had to pick my jaw off the ground, it was so special—beautiful, carefully considered, comfortable, and luxurious. The natural materials, the rattan and cane, the warmth and charm… each and every detail stole my heart. Our own personal patio with a giant tub and firepit… it was exactly what we hoped for to celebrate our 3 year anniversary.
Solage has been on my wine country travel guides forever and has always been a top favorite. Can’t recommend visiting enough if you are wanting to treat yourself!
The stone tables, hardwood floors, and tiled bathrooms were so stunning and felt so good under hand/foot. What I love about Solage most, is how these details all come together to evoke so much relaxation and contentment. Upon arrival I felt so much lighter and was able to be fully present as I was so struck by how at east I felt and all the captivating details.
A party for all your senses! Beauty everywhere you look, the smell of the garden and green surroundings, the cozy loungers and furniture to sit back and relax, time spent at their spa (the best), and their exquisite restaurants on site—all accompanied by a glass of wine in hand… that’s what I call a vacation!
Love their digital detox pool area — saunas, steam rooms, mineral pool, cold plunge pool, healthy juices, cucumber water… it was the perfect way start the day after a massage.
Picobar was a new addition with the renovation and was such a treat! Incredible Mexican cuisine that we enjoyed a couple of times during our stay. Loved the design-forward, beachy Tulum vibes of this spot…
They had the cutest little “build your own bouquet” cart out for guests to arrange for their rooms. Absolutely loved this touch, so sweet.
I live for breakfast in bed at nice hotels…. always so enjoyable and feels like the ultimate luxury (along with sleeping in!).
Solbar is so damn delicious. Loved our first experience years ago and it was just as memorable this time. Hamachi in particular is heaven!
I mentioned this on IG, but their pool is one of the very best set-ups in wine country. So glorious!
The spa. Heart eyes.
Had such a nice time. Can’t wait to go back xx
