So excited to share some fun updates around here! As you know, I am a bit of a light addict… to me, lighting is my expression of art. One of my top priorities while putting a space together! I like to have fun with it and curate pieces that have a personality of their own and who bring charm and character to my home. Circa Lighting has become a go-to over the years—if it’a not vintage, it’s Circa! Since we recently installed a few new pieces, I thought I would share new and old favorites around here…
My beloved plaster sconces
It has been a longtime coming to have sconces of my own. I’ve talked about this a lot in the past, but I’ve always dreamt of having a home full of sconces… that mid-level lighting is just so magical. It feels very European and grand to me, so finally having them in our living room has been such a treat! I had to part ways with our plaster tulip chandelier when moving in due to it being a little too tall, but was so happy to add the sconce version instead. I actually love them even more! They make me so happy as I walk into our living space each day… my little works of art! I will treasure them forever. They also come in a longer version as well, for more of a statement!
Mini lamp love
For years, the Tiny Terri lamp has become a very favorite of mine—in fact, I have three throughout our home! I am constantly asked about them and love seeing them in so many of my reader’s homes as well! It is just the most perfectly petit lamp that packs a punch and is so versatile. Throughout my previous apartment and our new house, I have moved them around and even added vintage lampshades I’ve come across to give them a whole new look… they are just the cutest things. The ivory paper shade it comes with is beautiful, too, I like to switch them back for fall and winter!
Murano vibes second bath
AERIN is a favorite on Circa, so discovering her new murano light collection made me so happy! I am a bit picky when it comes to vanity lighting… again, I like to feel like each and every light choice feels intentional and special, and sometimes vanity lighting can feel a bit boring. This one is one of the most beautiful I’ve come across and fit perfectly into my Italian murano theme I had going on! It also comes in a single arm, if interested. So cute!
More plaster in the main bath
Another set of plaster sconces that I got awhile back (these by AERIN as well!) are so gorgeous. That texture and shape is just so fun! They come with a tall linen shade, but decided to try out my vintage rattan shades to add some more warmth and texture to the room while it comes together. To me, swapping in new lampshades makes it your own! I shamelessly admit that I have a handful of spares on hand to interchange… it’s my way of updating a space for seasons or just when the mood strikes. I couldn’t love these more.
Hope your week has been a good one! Excited to share more updates with you this next week since things are really coming together over here! xx

I don’t know how I stumbled onto your blog late at night but i’m so glad I did. Those towel bars are so incredibly unique (and those plaster sconces too)
